Trinity School has a proud past, exemplary present, and exciting future – and your support will help inspire that future.
Inspire Excellence
The leadership of Trinity was inspired through a campus master planning process to envision how our facilities might be reconfigured and enhanced to exceed today’s standards for excellence in elementary education and further reflect the School’s mission, program and pedagogy pillars, intended learning outcomes, and evolving student needs. The resulting new campus master plan is the foundation of Inspire Excellence, a $14.5 million capital and endowment campaign. Seventy years after our founding and two decades after moving to our current location, join us as we further inspire excellence in elementary education, ensuring Trinity continues to lead for generations.

Donor Wall recognition opportunities begin at $25,000 and naming opportunities begin at $50,000. For more information about how to participate in Inspire Excellence, please contact Director of Advancement Margaret Douglas at mdouglas@trinityatl.org.
Coach Brian Balocki has watched Trinity School grow into the standard for elementary-school education during his 30 years (so far!) here. He spent nearly a decade at Trinity’s former location before watching the community come together to purchase the 43 acres at our current location and build our facilities from the ground up. As our campus once again transforms through the generosity of our community, we ask for your support of Inspire Excellence to complete this vision.

Thanks to a $150,000 grant from the Sartain Lanier Family Foundation and the generosity of about 30 families and organizations in December 2022, we have reached $12.3 million, or 85 percent of our $14.5 million Inspire Excellence goal! We are deeply grateful to the more than 200 families and friends who have already made their pledge or gift to this critical campaign that is transforming Trinity’s campus!

Trinity School’s faculty and staff have been committed to educating young children and providing them with joyful and meaningful educational experiences and instruction throughout our 71-year history. Additionally, the strong support of our community has allowed us to continually enhance and better our facilities so that we are always providing the best learning environments for our students. The priorities of the Inspire Excellence campaign, which launched publicly in April, stay true to that commitment and further confirm our dedication to our students, age three through Sixth Grade.
The Inspire Excellence campaign is transforming our campus - building new learning and activity spaces, renovating current facilities, and providing more opportunities for our students to flourish. We are deeply grateful to the more than 170 families and friends for helping us reach $11.8 million of our $14.5 million campaign goal, including a recent $500,000 grant from the Lettie Pate Evans Foundation!

Trinity School is excited to launch the public phase of its $14.5 million Inspire Excellencecampaign that will grow the School’s endowment and fund new facilities and significant renovations to several indoor and outdoor spaces. The Inspire Excellence campaign, which quietly commenced in January 2021, has already reached $9.5 million from early leadership donors and foundations!
Intentionality and thoughtfulness shape all that occurs at Trinity, and the Inspire Excellence campaign is no exception. Maximizing our decades of expertise in elementary-only education and the innovations identified over the past few years, we have reimagined our footprint, where our students—and their academic success, safety, and play- and passion-based learning—excel. Ultimately, this campaign creates an environment that inspires discovery, community, and growth, advancing our unique institution and providing our students with even more opportunities to flourish.
The campaign is composed of:
$4.6 million for Early Elementary playground enhancements and the already completed Early Childhood Outdoor Learning Center
$8.4 million for a second dining hall that will be dedicated to Early Elementary students; a Multi-Use Recreation Center that will house two gyms, one for Early Elementary P.E. and one for Upper Elementary recess; and already completed Upper Elementary classroom renovations
$1.5 million for the school’s endowment to support student financial assistance, employee salaries, and program improvements
“This Inspire Excellence campaign will not only reshape the landscape of Trinity School, but also help us continue to be a leader in elementary education,” says Head of School Joe Marshall. “Years of planning have gone into this campaign, and the new structures and thoughtful renovations to our current facilities will fulfill a significant need for expanded, agile learning spaces and experiential outdoor environments. In addition, growing our endowment will allow us to provide even more resources to children of all backgrounds, maintain competitive salaries and benefits to continue to attract and retain the best educators and staff, and upgrade our curriculum to keep Trinity on the cutting edge of teaching and learning.”
All Trinity students enjoyed a morning of play and discovery during the grand opening of the Early Childhood Outdoor Learning Center. The new outdoor area inspires physical play and learning in nature. The Center features independent and collaborative gathering spaces; unique climbing elements that stimulate movement; and areas that inspire art, science, and music discovery.
